En mis pesquisas buscando información para la construcción del Type 97 Chi-Ha, contacté con  Yasumitsu Ikura y Akira Takizawa, ambos modelistas japoneses, Yasumitsu me remitió información suficiente para aclarar los puntos negros de las maquetas, Akira Takizawa, es especialista en los AFV del Japón en el periodo de la 2ª G.M.

Además es el Webmaster de Taki's Home Page, una página dedicada al Ejercito Imperial Japonés.

En los correos que mantuve con el y sus mensajes en el foro japonés de Missing Links, me recomendó este libro, solo puedo decir que es impresionante.

El libro consta de 248 páginas profusamente ilustradas, con fotografías de la época, planos, secciones, etc., tanto de los Carros de combate, como  cañones autopropulsados, camiones blindados, montajes antiaéreos, etc.

Lo único malo es que solo trae texto en japonés.

Al que le guste los blindados del Imperio Nipón, es imprescindible.

During my research for information for the construction of the Type 97 Chi-Ha, I contacted Mr. Yasumitsu Ikura and Mr. Akira Takizawa, both of them Japanese modellers. Mr. Yasumitsu sent me enough information as to fill in the obscure points of the kit. Mr. Akira Takizawa, who is a specialist in Japanese AFVs of WWII, is also the webmaster of Taki's Home Page, a page devoted to the Imperial Japanese Army.

He recommended this book in the e.mails I exchanged with him and in his messages in the Missing Links forum. The only thing I can say about this book is that it is amazing!

The book contains 248 pages thoroughly illustrated, with real wartime photographs, plans, section drawings, etc., not only of tanks, but also of self-propelled guns, armoured trucks, halftracks, AA mountings, etc.

The only drawback is that the text is only in Japanese.

A must to all those modellers who love the Armour of the Japanese Empire.
